At the border to Thailand, a truck waiting for the custom clearance The road to W from Pakse is leading to Thailand. The bus station was just across Mekong river by ferry boat. But after the new bridge was open, many communal trucks leave from a new market next to the bridge. The buses/trucks stop 1 km before the border and people either walk or take a moto to the border from there. |

After crossing the border, everything is different. The road is perfect and the communal trucks are comfortable. The conductors never try to rip us off. |
