2nd largest castle in the Czech Republic. Originally built in the 13th C on the site of a fortress. Contains examples of Gothic, Baroque & Renaissance Architecture. Houses the oldest Baroque theater in Europe. There are 2 tours -
Route I covers the chapel, the Hall of Masks & some baroque style rooms. Route II - Schwarzenberg portrait gallery, 19th C rooms & renaissance rooms.

An Art Gallery dedicated to the Austrian artist Egon Schiele who lived in Ceske Krumlov for a short time. Over 50 of his watercolors are on display. The historical Renaissance style building is very beautiful, a major attraction in itself.
