Ceske Budejovice is getting almost trendy. Catering to the obviously thriving business sector, lots of good value, lunch time options. Most restaurants serve typical Czech meals but there is an excellent Chinese restaurant, Mexican and plenty of pasta/pizza otions. Stand-up Bufets are good value and increasingly have sit down sections. There are several popular outdoor cafes around the square and near the river serving coffee, beer and snacks or ice cream. Local Specialties: Carp.
