BUS

There are two bus stations. One is B1 in Penang island and the other B2 is in Butterworth next to the ferry terminal. Most long distance buses from/to B1 travel via B2. Since buses have to take the bridge, it takes 1 hr between these bus station. To save tome, you may get off at B2 and take a ferry to land Penang.

B1	Sungai Nibong Bus Terminal(Main): just S from the Penag Bridge. The most buses leave from here. Tickets are sold at Prangin Mall next to KOMTOR. The pickup service from KOMTOR to Sungai Nibong is RM2 additional. Access: Bus from Weld Quay Terminal(ferry port) U301, 303, 401, RM1.5

Tickets may be cheaper at your GH. Love Lane Inn offers RM45/85.
The alternative way to Langkawi : take bus to Kuala Kedah (about RM10) & ferry to Langkawi(RM12)

Medan (Sumatra)

Two companies operate. Embarkation fee RM10. Tu-Th SaSu 8:30, need 5hrs. class B - OW RM150, RT RM220(Su plus RM20)
