Tanah Rata

The main road from S, KL and Tapah, is running W to E in Tanah Rata. W to Tapah and E to further N part of Cameron Highland.
Bus station and the police station are in E part of town and many cheap GHs can be found mainly in W part of town.

They sell trail maps RM3, several have travelers notebooks containing travel info on many destinations. Trail map also available at some shops RM2

Transport

T	Train Station: closest train station is Tapah, 67 km from Tanah Ratah. Bus or taxi to/from Tapah.
B	Bus Station: on the main road. Ticket offices open 8:00-17:30. For the long distance journey, book in advance. For the local services, buy a ticket on bus. It's a hard journey for travel sickness sufferers. Sick bags provided on request.
