Very popular beach town however the water is not so beautiful anymore. The north part of Sanur is the worst and the south is much better. Despite of the negative factor, there is a very nice promenade along the beach and many restaurants are just on the beach. It is much relaxed beach than Kuta.
Some come here to stay to take a boat to Lembogan island.

Bali Beach: North of Sanur, just N from Grand Bali Beach Hotel Perama tourist buses arrive here and the boats to Lembogan island leave from here. The water quality is not good.

Jl Danau Tamblingan This is the main street for Sanur, running N to S along the beach, N end of it is about 1km S from Bali Beach Hotel area. If you come to Sanur with Parama, you may have to taka a bemo to this area. A bit far to walk caring with your backpack. Public bemos are running to this street from Tegal and Biru stations. If you take a bemo from Kuta, you may get off at the junction to change your bemo. The driver will tell you where to get off. If you take the other tourist transport from Kuta/Ubud, ask the agent where you can get off.
